Pet Portrait Commissions
I am excited to work with you to capture your furry, feathery, scaly, or slimy friend’s personality in a drawing! Here is a guideline of the commission request process that will help you to get started:
To commission a piece, please e-mail a reference photograph(s) of your pet that you have taken to annastunkelart@gmail.com. You may also opt to send a professional photograph, but please provide confirmation that you have permission from the photographer. Depending on your location, we may be able to set up a photo session for a small additional fee. I am happy to discuss the process and any questions that you may have.
When choosing and sending a photo, please keep these pointers in mind:
The higher the quality and larger the image, the better. This will allow me to create the closest possible likeness of your companion.
Good lighting and a sharp focus are important. This is especially true for animals with very light or very dark coloring.
If your animal is wearing a collar, halter, bridle, etc., please specify whether or not you would like this included in the drawing.
I usually do not include a background, in order to keep the focus on the animal. However, I am happy to include one if you specify the color and pattern.
Pricing:
Pricing may vary slightly depending on the complexity of the drawing, background type, or number of animals in the photo. Here is a general list of prices (there is an additional charge for shipping).
