Wildlife Art
I create wildlife art for a variety of purposes, including for publications, environmental education materials, t-shirt designs, personal commissions, and more! Here is a guideline of the commission request process for a wildlife art piece. If you are interested in starting a specific project, please e-mail me to discuss further!
To commission a piece, please e-mail a reference photograph(s) that you have taken to annastunkelart@gmail.com OR e-mail me a request of the species/setting that you are looking for, and we will work together to find a good photo(s). You may also opt to send a professional photograph, but please provide confirmation that you have permission from the photographer. I am happy to discuss the process and any questions that you may have.
When choosing and sending a photo, please keep these pointers in mind:
The higher the quality and larger the image, the better. This will allow me to create the closest possible likeness of the subject.
Good lighting and a sharp focus are important. This is especially true for animals with very light or very dark coloring.
I am happy to include a background if desired. We can work together to find good reference photos that portray the setting that you’re looking for.
